Account settings

Your account is personal to you and separate from any organization. It's your single Anvil login, which can belong to several organizations at once. Organization settings (members, billing, projects) are managed per organization; the settings here are about you.

Getting there​

Open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings. Your account settings open in Anvil's dedicated account area.

What you can manage​

  • Profile — your name, email, and avatar.
  • Password — change your password.
  • Passkeys — add passkeys for passwordless sign-in.
  • Connected accounts — link or unlink social logins (such as Google) you use to sign in.
  • Two-factor authentication — add a second factor for extra security.
  • Sessions — review where you're signed in and sign out other sessions.

Account vs organization​

Signing out, changing your password, or adding a passkey affects your login everywhere. Changing an organization's name, members, or plan only affects that organization. If you lead a team, see Members & roles for managing who can access your organization.
